WebLink Overview
Fellowship One WebLink extends the functionality of Fellowship One to your community through your church website. It allows your church to provide self-service to the following:
- Contacting the church (initiating a contact item in Fellowship One),
- Finding activities/small groups,
- Managing groups,
- Registering for events and completing surveys,
- Volunteering for activities, and giving.
- By utilizing WebLink, you enable people to interact directly with Fellowship One through your church website. All information submitted through WebLink is captured in a person's Fellowship One records.
Online Features
The following is a high-level description of the available online features:.
Before a user can access most of the online tools, Login appears if the user has not already logged in. Once logged in, the user can access the following:
- Event Registration—allows people to register and pay any associated fees for events through the church website.
- In Fellowship One, you can create a registration for any activity. You can also create custom questions to “upsell” related materials or solicit donations.
- Online, a person can see and register all members of his or her household.
- A person can add a new household member if he or she is not listed in the initial household view.
- Each household member registration is held in a queue and all registrations can be submitted together simultaneously.
- After registering all desired household members, the web user need only submit payment information one time for all registrations.
- Online Giving—allows people to make donations through the church website.
- Recurring tithe schedules can be configured and are fulfilled through a credit or debit card transaction.
- Each schedule is tied to a fund created in Fellowship One and consists of amount, frequency, fund name to apply contribution to, and credit card data.
- Multiple schedules can be created for each available fund.
- Volunteer Application—allows online users to apply for volunteer positions.
- Allows selection of one or more available volunteer opportunities.
- Personal information is displayed and can be verified by the volunteer.
- Consents to background checks must be completed if required by the selected volunteer opportunities.
- Personal references and consents to reference checks must be completed if required by the selected volunteer opportunities.
- Relationship Manager—allows web users to write notes within the context of a counseling/mentoring relationship. Typically used by the counselor/mentor to record notes on the relationship and its progress.
- Profile Editor—allows a user to change all aspects of his or her profile including address, phone number, email address, WebLink user ID and password.
- Sign out—deletes the cookie created after a successful login. If the user tries to launch any of the modules that require login, he will be prompted to re-login.
The following two module does not require the web user to be logged in before accessing:
- Contact Form—allows online users to contact the church by selecting from a list of pre-configured interest or request items.
- Does not require a user to be logged in. If he or she is not logged in, an interface to input contact information is provided. If logged in, this interface is pre-populated with the information stored for the web user in Fellowship One. (The user has the ability to change these values if any need to be updated.)
- Interest or request items can be selected from a drop-down list, which is generated from the contact items created for the contact form. All items are completely customizeable by your church.
- The submission of a contact form notifies the responsible ministry leader of an open contact in his or her My Tasks area on the Home page of the portal.
